Halifax is home to a myriad of ocean harbours, lakes, and bays. In 2021, our quest to showcase these natural wonders led us to discover the perfect location in the North End. Fueled by the desire to reveal the splendour of the Halifax harbour, as well as the MacKay and MacDonald bridges, the Halifax Rooftop was born.
During the design process, our primary aim was to craft a fresh and captivating space for both our guests and future residents. Our vision for this space revolved around elevating the existing charm of the North End, with the utmost emphasis on creating a comfortable, inviting, and tranquil environment. We aspire for you to draw inspiration from the modern simplicity of our design, allowing you to focus on the small yet extraordinarily beautiful facets of life while you stay with us.
From The Ground Up
Showcasing the North End
Upon entering, notice the stunning exposed wood ceilings. Inspired by 1800s Nail Laminated Timber construction, the NLT structure elevates ceilings for a city view from the rooftop. Floors are warm concrete with soundproofing and in-floor heating. The main floor features a well-equipped kitchen, dining area with a 20’x25′ window wall, gas fireplace, and custom staircase. Bathrooms boast custom features, and the top-floor master bathroom includes a sauna, steam shower, Jacuzzi, and a private balcony. The smart home features help simplify life. The outdoor space offers 2200 square feet with a secluded backyard, balconies, and the star attraction – the rooftop with a 360° harbour and North End view, a fire table, barbecue, and ample seating. Enjoy tranquillity in this beautifully curated minimalist space.
